WEBSITE BUILDER FOR BEGINNERS: A GUIDE TO GETTING STARTED

In this article I'll guide you through the very first steps of website building so that you, as a beginner, can start building your own website.

Website building guide for beginners
I'll guide you on how to chooseBut first, let's get one basic question straight.

Do I need to know how to program?
If you're just getting started in the world best essay writing service, you're bound to have this question. Do you need programming skills? The answer is simple.

No.

At basic to intermediate level, you can now do practically everything without coding. That doesn't mean that it wouldn't be an advantage if you know something about HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming languages. If you're seriously interested in the technical background of website development, it's worth taking a deeper dive into them.

But if you just want a nice-looking website for yourself or your business and you're not interested in any of this, then go for it. You don't need to know how to program.

Unfortunately, on a lot of forums you'll run into detractors who think that anyone who tries to build a website without 10+ years of programming experience is a loser. Ignore them, they do this for a living. You'll also read in many places that only a custom-built website is a sophisticated solution, everything else is just a horse for a donkey. This is not true either.

Of course, there may come a point when you need a skilled developer who knows how to top resume writing services. There's nothing wrong with that either. But many websites have been up and running for a long time without the need for special skills to create them.

Website development for free: does it exist?
Before we go any further, I want to clear up a misconception. And that is "free" website creation.

There is no such thing as 100% free website creation.

There are several website building platforms advertising themselves on the internet that you can get started with for free. But only startups are free, or they offer limited options for free that are at most only sufficient for a very hobbyist project.

When you need what you need for a full-fledged website (e.g. connecting your own domain or more features), you have to pay, usually a monthly or annual fee. Which is fine, they are just not free.

But that's the lesser problem. The bigger one is that with these platforms you don't actually own the website. For example, you can't change providers, your website will only work there, with them. You can't just move on, and often even requesting a domain address that you would otherwise own is a herculean task over several months.

If you listen to me, you'll avoid these platforms, register your domain address, rent hosting, and build your own WordPress website (WordPress will be discussed in plenty of detail later).

But even that won't be free, there will be a cost for essay writing services, possibly tools. You can learn a lot from various website building courses, but you will have to pay for these too. And then we haven't even talked about the value of the time you spend on it all.

What I'm saying is that

don't stop yourself with free website building. It doesn't exist.

Now that we've cleared that up, let's get back to the first steps of website building. Let's start by choosing your domain and hosting.
